  • My topic interests are quite broad: Open-weight model safety as the first preference, and AI socio-economic impacts, AI data journalism/policy, AI creativity, or, for candidates with more advanced AI backgrounds, AI self-improvement loops.

  • A passion for a specific application of AI systems, and ideally some interdisciplinary perspective (from math, science, policy, or humanities). Some coding or research experience, including personal projects, is a great start.
